Scott is the COO of the Americas Azure Cloud Business, where he is responsible for the Americas business, marketing and operations across the cloud and infrastructure portfolio of products including Azure, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Data, Application Development, GitHub, Windows Server, System Center, SQL, and Developer Tools. The charter of the organization incudes business planning, integrated marketing planning, key Go-To-Market plays and programs, digital campaigns, customer offers, sales readiness, customer evidence, market planning and competitive insights to deliver our customers the fastest path to value on their digitization journey.

Formerly CSU Lead for Manufacturing, Scott was responsible for technical strategy, delivery quality, and delivery readiness for our largest Manufacturing customers. Scott led teams of Solution Architects responsible for the envisioning and delivery for solutions leveraging our entire Microsoft portfolio of products including Office 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and other tools. He incubated the Customer Success organization at Microsoft since the beginning and helped to transform Microsoft to a more outcomes-based organization. Scott has been at Microsoft for 13 years and prior to the CSU job held leadership positions across out sales organization, Global Black Belt Teams, and product teams for Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility Suite.

For over 30 years, Scott has worked in the technology industry. Prior to coming to Microsoft, Scott held a Program CTO position at CH2M HILL, where he helped to design the systems used to build out the largest global capital development programs in the world from MASDAR City in Abu Dhabi to the Panama Canal expansion. Prior to CH2M HILL, Scott held several Marketing, Partner Program and Product Development leadership positions on three products: Groove Networks, Lotus Notes, and cc:Mail.
