Harvie leads the money movement and banking product compliance team for the company’s Legal, Compliance, and Policy organization. Product Compliance comprises compliance professionals handling regulatory and contractual obligations and issues related to highly regulated industries such as money transmission and banking, both domestically and internationally. As Head of Product Compliance, he serves as a liaison between product managers and legal professionals, as well as with state regulators.

Harvie has over 15 years of compliance, governance, and regulatory experience.

Prior to joining Intuit in 2019, Harvie served as Compliance Manager for the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions in Nashville, TN where he oversaw the mortgage and money transmission licensing operations. He worked with an array of financial institutions and financial technology companies to ensure compliance with state and federal banking regulations while promoting economic progress for all Tennesseans.

Originally from Memphis, TN, Harvie earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville; an M.B.A. with a focus in Banking from the University of Tennessee at Martin; and, a M.S. in Business Intelligence and Analytics from Middle Tennessee State University.

Harvie resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Candance and two daughters.
