Accurate, historic and current Black data must be digitally available for use in the metaverse. Artificial intelligence is already part of our daily lives.  Machines are learning information and drawing conclusions in minutes.  If the majority of our narrative is derived from biased media or criminal records, we run the risk of false conclusions being drawn about the Black diaspora.  Important conversations are being had about defining data equity.  Now is the time for us to pay attention to the digitization of OUR history and OUR stories as we all enter the Web 3 space.
